with Yangtze River Cruise

Click here to download the full trip brochure and registration form

Your family will experience the juxtaposition of China’s ancient past and dynamic present on this expansive, wide-ranging adventure. In Beijing you’ll visit the Forbidden City and the 15th-century Temple of Heaven, one of the finest creations of the Ming Dynasty, plus take a dip in the famous Olympic “Water Cube.” You’ll then ride bikes alongside a well-preserved, rural section of the Great Wall at Mutianyu and marvel over the 2,300-year-old life-size terra-cotta warriors in Xi’an. After a taste of the Silk Road culture of the Tang Dynasty, you’ll fly to Chongqing to take in its flourishing art scene before embarking on a Yangtze River cruise to view Three Gorges Dam, site of the world’s largest power station. Your tour concludes in cosmopolitan Shanghai, where you’ll explore Chinese artistic traditions and enjoy a banquet at the elegant Ding Xiang Garden restaurant.
