Alaska's Inside Passage
Aboard the Safari Explorer
Click here to download the full trip brochure and registration form ![]() ![]() The Pacific islands that make up Alaska’s Inside Passage protect ships from the fury of the open ocean. They also create a magnificent scenic backdrop where nature is on full display: soaring mountains, massive glaciers, icebergs plunging into the aquamarine sea, land and marine animals raising their young during the short arctic summer. You’ll experience all this aboard the 36-passenger Safari Explorer, a small ship that offers unparalleled access to quiet coves and the flexibility to linger while sea lions battle on rocky shores, or bears scavenge beaches at low tide. A highlight is Glacier Bay, where you’ll observe abundant wildlife while hiking scenic trails, kayaking, or relaxing on deck. Naturalists, shipboard guides, and park rangers will be on hand to lead and instruct.
