Discover Vietnam’s captivating beauty, enduring traditions, and profound hospitality on this culturally enriching and relaxing journey. You’ll tour the French-accented capital of Hanoi and spend a full day among the dramatic limestone formations at Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage site noted for its outstanding beauty and biodiversity. You’ll also visit Da Nang’s acclaimed Museum of Cham Sculpture; the ancient trading town of Hoi An, also a World Heritage site; and the imperial capital of Hue, once home to emperors and mandarins. In southern Vietnam, you’ll explore the floating markets of the Mekong River Delta, before concluding in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon). Rounding out the trip is a cruise on the Perfume River and time at a resort on China Beach—one of Asia’s loveliest white-sand beaches. A post-trip extension to Angkor Wat and Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is available.
