This special on-campus symposium, featuring notable Smith faculty and alumnae in the law, will combine formal discussions and real-life experiences in a thoughtful examination of the social responsibility, ethics, and impact of the law.
Join fellow alumnae in discussions on a variety ofimportant topics, including work/life balance, career paths, issues of diversity and discrimination in the profession, and ways women might reinvent the practice of law. Linda Chatman Thomsen ’76, director of the Division of Enforcement for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, will deliver the keynote address, and there will be opportunities to network and share advice with Smith students interested in careers in the law. |
