Howdy DFW Smithies!
The DFW Smith College Alumnae Club was re-established in the Summer of 2009. We are a club functioning solely on volunteers, with no elected officers. We organize about four events a year, one for each season. Its just plain and simple with us; if you want to volunteer and organize an event, just email us and we can help you get started!
Our goal is to connect the over 300 Smithies in the DFW metroplex and start a solid club of sisterhood and Smithie relationships.
In the future, we would like more recruitment of young women in the DFW area to Northampton, and would love to establish a scholarship fund for those looking to attend Smith.
At the moment, we are in need of bright and energetic Smithies full of ideas looking to volunteer and organize an event in the area. As you may know, Smith is amazing and can change your life and has done so for many of us. We would like to offer that to more young women and continue a strong foundation for Smith Alumni.
