Next time you organize a mini-reunion, consider serving a familiar and beloved treat from the Campus Center Café: the Smith Mudslide.
Here’s the recipe for a Mudslide for one:
Into a blender place:
1/2 cup milk
1 1/4 cups vanilla ice cream
1/4 cup Hershey’s chocolate syrup, plus extra for the glass
2 tablespoons Oreo cookie crumbs
Blend until thoroughly mixed. Drizzle a bit of chocolate syrup into a large milkshake glass. Pour blender mixture into glass.
That’s it. Unless you’d like to take the advice of Mary Barr, catering manager for dining services, who suggests topping the Mudslide with whipped cream and Oreo crumbs. Cheers!
