From the excitement of Beijing to the peaceful Buddhist palaces of Tibet and the serenity and beauty of the Yangtze River, there is so much to take in. You'll begin with a tour of the picturesque Houhai district, where you'll enjoy lunch at a local family's home. From Beijing, it's off to Lhasa for a day of sightseeing and then to Chengdu and Chongqing before embarking on a cruise down the Yangtze. The region's history, culture, and natural splendor will amaze and delight even the most experienced travelers.
