Join Jenny Hawkins Hogrefe ’97, creator of Source Tours, on this three-day trip that puts the focus on great food and sustainability. Prepare feasts from the fresh vegetables, eggs, butter, fruits, honey, beer, and meat you’ll gather from the array of farms, greenhouses, and fields you visit. Along the way, you’ll meet with local farmers and hear first-hand the stories behind the food they produce. You’ll also visit the Nature Conservancy’s Zumwalt Prairie Preserve, enjoy a dinner prepared by food writer and chef Lynne Sampson, and drink award-winning Oregon wines produced by Smith alumnae!
