No one knows better than Cubans themselves that Cuba boasts a unique culture, defiant history, and resplendent tropical landscapes. Throughout this adventure you’ll meet with prominent Cuban historians, artists, and musicians. The trip begins in Havana, where you’ll spend five days visiting churches, palaces, museums, citadels, and mansions, the greatest concentration of Spanish colonial architecture in the Americas. You’ll then visit Trinidad, a mountain-ringed colonial city and UNESCO World Heritage site; Baracoa, set amid tropical vegetation; and Santiago, the center of Afro-Cuban culture, reached via a lush mountain drive.
