n 2005, Smith Travel joined Habitat for Humanity in hosting a "vacation with a purpose" to Chile. The trip was so successful that we've decided to partner with Habitat's Global Village program once again to offer this special experience in Costa Rica. Working side by side with local residents and other volunteers, you'll build a house from the ground up. You'll hammer, you'll paint, you'll install windows and doors, and you'll have a great time. Sherley Young '61, a veteran of the program, will be on hand to provide her perspective.
