The canal-crossed landscape, the history, and especially the art of the Low Countries is unequalled in Europe. Where else can you take a leisurely canal-boat cruise and view original masterpieces by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Frans Hals, and van Gogh in a single day? On this excursion based in gracious lodgings in the medieval town of Bruges and the Dutch cities of The Hague, Apeldoorn, and bustling Amsterdam, you'll explore art museums and cathedrals. From your canal-deck perspective, you'll witness distinctive Dutch-gabled roofs silhouetted against the sky. You'll also visit the Grand Place in Brussels; Nieuwe Kerk in lovely, prosperous Delft; and the famous Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam. Susie Orso of Specialtours will bring her signature charm and expertise to this program.
