Vietnam is steeped in a history of powerful dynasties, diverse religious traditions, and political transformations. Your journey will take you through the lush landscape, made up of beautiful emerald green rice fields and dotted with the remnants of ancient temples, to the country’s history rich cities, which fuse French colonial architecture and ancient dynastic elements. With one foot firmly planted in the ideology of ho Chi Minh and the other taking a giant step toward the global free-market economy, Vietnam today is a fascinating study in contradictions. Extensions are available to Laos and Cambodia.
