n northeastern Italy, between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, lies the Veneto—a region filled with picturesque towns, world-class vineyards, and some of the country's most cherished art. Its capital, Venice, is well known for its architectural treasures, but the entire region is rich with cultural and historic marvels. You'll visit ancient castles and cathedrals, tour exquisite botanic gardens, and peruse the archives of historic sites and museums—all of which will reveal a side of Italy you've never experienced before. Susie Orso, of Specialtours, will share her deep knowledge of Italy and extensive connections to enhance the already fine-tuned itinerary.
