ourney into the heart of ancient civilization on a premier riverboat, specifically designed for cruising the Nile —the best way to explore the legacies of Egypt . Your itinerary includes behind-the-scenes access to current archaeological research and a number of guest lecturers.
Begin in Cairo, with visits to the pyramids, sacred mosques, and colorful bazaars. Then travel for seven nights on the privately chartered Sun Boat III to important sites between Abydos and Aswan. Before leaving Upper Egypt, take a day trip to Abu Simbel and the monumental temples of Ramses II and his queen, Nefertari. Back in Cairo , visit the legendary Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, where the threads of all you’ve seen and learned come together.
