In conjunction with Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program, Smith College alumnae embarked upon a most unique travel experience in the heart of Chile. They experienced the customs and culture of Chilean villages while helping build a home for a local family in need. Interspersed with the hard —but rewarding—work were excursions to area sites in the picturesque country, and before returning home, alumnae spent three days in Chile’s Lake District, enjoying the spectacular scenery and activities local to this amazing region.
