In 2007, Smith College alumnae climbed aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway, stretching almost 6,000 miles and across eight time zones. They traversed the Mongolian Route in the comfort of a private train, arriving at destinations such as Moscow, Novosivbirsk, Irkustk, and Mongolia’s capital city of Ullan Baatar. From the beautiful countryside to the historic Kremlin, Smith alumnae explored it all.
