The journey for Smith College alumnae began in San Jose, Costa Rica, where they boarded the six-star Crystal Symphony and set sail for a full day of cruising the Pacific Ocean before reaching the Panama Canal. Once through the canal, they savored the beauty of Gatun Lake, which was blasted out of solid mountainside, and then spent two days sailing the Caribbean Sea before docking in St. Lucia, West Indies. They then continued to Antigua, St. Maarten, Grand Turk, and finally arrived in Miami, the last stop on this remarkable journey.
