Explore the unique art and architecture and diverse culture of Andalucía, where many different civilizations and religions have converged and co-existed for centuries. This custom-designed program will introduce you to the region’s rich heritage. Begin with three nights in the delightful city
of Córdoba, the setting for Smith’s JYA program in Spain. During a full-day excursion to Granada, you’ll stroll through the Alhambra, the 35-acre former private estate of the Nasrid sultans, and see the lush water gardens of Generalife. From there, you’ll head to the lively city of Seville, famous for the romance of Carmen, the pageantry of bullfighting, and the allure of Moorish gardens and palaces.
