ncient castles, world-renowned music, and breathtaking art collections are just some of the attractions in store for you on this excursion to Central Europe’s most exciting cities.
On your first night in Prague, you’ll attend a special reception at the U.S. Embassy residence. While in Prague, you’ll stay at the five-star Hotel Pariz, located in the heart of the city and within walking distance of the National Gallery of Prague, the Stare Mesto (Old Town) district, the Jewish Quarter, and the Estates Opera Theatre, where you’ll attend a Mozart opera performance. You will leave the city for short trips to the area’s other sites of interest, including the Strahov Monastery (by special permission), Lobkowicz Castle at Nelahozeves, and Castolovice Castle.

Then it's off to Budapest, where you'll stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel, which for the past several years has been voted the best hotel in Hungary. Close by is the Grand Boulevard, with its many shops; the Royal Palace, home to Hungary’s National Gallery collection; and the Museum of Fine Arts. While in Budapest, enjoy drinks at the U.S. Embassy and dinner at Fot Castle, courtesy of the Count and Countess Karolyi.
Finally, it’s on to Vienna. Once again, you will be in the center of the city; the Imperial Treasury, National Library, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, and the Museum Quarter are all within walking distance. Since Vienna is synonymous with music, you’ll attend a performance at the Vienna State Opera as well as a morning mass sung by the Vienna Boys Choir at the Royal Chapel in Hofburg.
