Using the Alumnae Association Logo
The Alumnae Association logo is comprised of a "diamond" design that is a modern interpretation of the classic monogram "SC" in use at the college for many years, and a logotype or wordmark. The diamond shape is also an element of the college's official logo.
The approved colors for the Alumnae Association logo are Pantone 295 (blue) and 130 (yellow). The two-color version should not be used in any combination but blue and yellow. Depending upon your requirements and production constraints, a single-color version of the logo is available; the single-color rendition may be printed in any color.
High-resolution digital files of the logo in a CMYK version for four-color publications, and a one-color rendition for single-color publications, are available below. Low-resolution versions for Web use are also available.
The logo should not be screened, rotated or used as part of a larger pattern. Because the size and spatial relationships of the letters in the wordmark are part of the overall design and function as a part of the complete logo, alteration of the logo in any way (outlining, shadows, stretching or condensing) is unacceptable.
The Smith College seal, developed in 1983, should be reserved for formal and official documents. For information on using the Smith College logo, please refer to the college's Web site, www.smith.edu/vid.
