Yager Named VP for College Relations and Communications
Julia Yager has been named vice president for college relations and communications. She has served in various marketing positions throughout her career. In her new role, Yager will serve as a key member of the president’s cabinet, leading communications strategies. Her appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2021.

Vespers Goes Virtual
This year's Christmas Vespers celebration will be broadcast via Smith College's Facebook page on Dec. 13, 4:30–6 p.m. Eastern Time. Christmas Vespers tells the story of advent through music and readings performed by College Chaplain Matilda Rose Cantwell, the Smith College Glee Club, Chamber Singers, Orchestra, Campus School Chorus and members of the senior class and the Smith community.

Video: A Peek Inside the New Neilson Library
Enjoy a video tour of the renovated Neilson Library. Designed by renowned architectural designer Maya Lin, the new Neilson incorporates the original 1909 facade, cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art spaces to support students’ entrepreneurial ambitions. The project, which broke ground in October 2017, is expected to be completed early next year.
