Wilder House Renamed to Honor Pioneering Educator
The quad residence will now be known as Haynes House, after mathematician and teacher Martha Euphemia Lofton Haynes, class of 1914. “We are incredibly proud to honor this remarkable leader,” said President Sarah Willie-LeBreton about the name change.

Pioneers Are NEWMAC Tournament Champions—Again!
After defeating Babson College on Sunday, Smith’s basketball team secured a spot in the first round of the NCAA Division III tournament. The Pioneers play the Maine Maritime Academy on Friday at 7 p.m. EST at home. Last year, Smith reached the Final Four for the first time.
