Cromwell Day 2024 To Host Artist-Filmmaker Tourmaline as Keynote Speaker
Nov. 12 is Cromwell Day, an annual event that honors the legacies of Otelia Cromwell 1900 and her niece, Adelaide Cromwell ’40, by discussing matters of diversity, racism, and inclusion. This year’s keynote speaker is renowned for her work celebrating Black, queer, and trans individuals.

Botanic Garden Works With Japanese Nonprofit on Gingko Seed Project
A project is underway at the college to care for seven ginkgo seeds, which come from a tree that survived the 1945 bombings of Japan. “This is a story about human resilience, human suffering … about violence, about peace,” says John Berryhill, the botanic garden’s director.
