Celebrate Founder’s Day With Free Activities, Programs Across Campus
This Saturday, Smith will host several events in recognition of the day Sophia Smith signed her will establishing the college, including a lecture hosted by President Sarah Willie-LeBreton and Northampton Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra ’96 at the Alumnae House at 1 p.m. EST.

Smith Claims Fifth Straight New England Conference Basketball Title
Following a 79–66 victory over MIT on March 2, Smith’s basketball team has once again punched its ticket to the NCAA Division III tournament. This Friday at 6:45 p.m. EST, Smith will host SUNY Cobleskill for the first round of the 2025 championship.

Smith Swimming and Diving Recognized for Exceptional Scholarship
After achieving a teamwide grade point average of 3.64, the Pioneers were named a Scholar All-America Team, a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America recognition for programs that excel both in the classroom and in the pool.

Susan May Molineaux ’75 Named Chair of Smith’s Board of Trustees
A leading cancer researcher, Molineaux will begin a three-year term on July 1 as the next chair of the board. She succeeds Alison Overseth ’80, a member of the board of trustees since 2012 who helped spearhead the search for Smith’s 12th president, among other accomplishments.
