Nina Munk ’88
Nina Munk ’88 has won three Business Journalist of the Year awards and two Front Page Awards for her profile of economist Jeffrey Sachs and for her investigation of corruption among Wall Street analysts. Her book Fools Rush In: Steve Case, Jerry Levin, and the Unmaking of AOL Time Warner was lauded by The New York Times Book Review for its “exemplary reporting” and its “lively, lucid writing.” Munk was a senior writer at Fortune and, previously, a senior editor at Forbes. Since 2001, she has been a contributing editor at Vanity Fair. Her articles have appeared in Vanity Fair, The New York Times, The New Yorker, Fortune, and Forbes. Her latest book is The Art of Clairtone: The Making of a Design Icon, 1958–1971. She is crrently working on a book about the crusade to end extreme poverty in Africa. She is based in New York City.
