The 2012 Calendars will be available at the Fall Meeting at the Women’s City Club. They will be $13 this year again. If you need your calendars before then, call Wendy Wooden at 454-2142.If you can’t pick up your order, tell Wendy and we will get them to you.
About our speaker
Dorothy Wickenden is the Managing Editor of the New Yorker magazine and the granddaughter of Dorothy Woodruff, one of the two Smithies who went out west to teach in1916. Dorothy came home from her western adventure and married her long-time beau, Lemuel Hillman and moved to Grand Rapids. As Dorothy Hillman she became a leadrer in the life of Grand Rapids and one of the founders of our Smith Club. Ms Wickenden will be in Grand Rapids for two days. On the Oct. 26th she will be talking at the Grand Rapids Public Library and on the 27th She will be at the Women’s City Club at 11:00 co-sponsored by our club. She will also sign books courtesy of Schuler’s Books which will be available for sale..
