In response to President McCartney’s 2016-2017 Innovation Challenge: Advancing Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity, a series of on-campus retreats to foster connections between Smith students and alumnae of color will be held during the 2017-2018 academic year.

Diverse Smithies: Connecting, Coaching, Celebrating, will be composed of three, half-day retreats designed to educate and inspire Smith students in fostering inclusive communities, acting as allies for each other, celebrating the strength of our diverse community, and learning strategies for successfully navigating racism and bias at Smith and beyond.

Be part of this exciting series!  We are seeking alumnae, especially alumnae of color, who are eager to lead workshops for students in which they can make meaningful connections, reflect on what they have learned, and celebrate successes.
