The grandeur and majesty of the American Southwest have to be experienced in person to be truly grasped. This expedition to some of America’s finest national parks offers a primer on their geology, flora, fauna, and cultural histories. You’ll visit the Grand Canyon, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Zion, and Canyonlands national parks, and Dead Horse Point State Park. You’ll also cruise Lake Powell, experience an authentic Navajo cookout, spin around Monument Valley in a four-wheeler, and taste the wines of the Moab desert. Some of the great pleasures of this trip are the unique, western-style lodges where you’ll stay, including a hotel on the rim of the Grand Canyon.
