Join Smith College President Carol T. Christ and prominent faculty and alumnae in London to mark the launch of the leadership phase of a comprehensive campaign to support Smith’s global mission to educate women of promise for lives of distinction. President Christ will share her vision for how Smith will educate its students to be the global leaders of tomorrow. Following President Christ’s remarks, Professor Rob Dorit, head of the Paris JYA program, will moderate a discussion with Barbara Ridpath ’78 and Shaharzad Akbar ’09, two alumnae who are having an impact on the world in very different but critical ways: reforming the world’s financial markets and working for free and fair elections in Afghanistan.

Husbands and partners are welcome to attend this complimentary event hosted by Smith and the Alumnae Association. Drinks and canapés will be served.

This event has now exceeded capacity. If you would like to be added to the waiting list please e-mail alumedu@smith.edu
