In 2007, Smith College alumnae traveled to the Far East, visiting Japan’s ancient temples and shrines, as well as her contemporary architectural masterpieces. They explored the many sides of the region via river cruises through Tokyo, sight-seeing excursions in Matsue, walking tours of Hiroshima, and visits to local food markets in Kyoto.
