The enchanting riverside city of Savannah, Georgia is one of America’s historic gems with its park-like city squares, genteel nineteenth-century architecture, and famously eclectic populace.  With the growth of the Savannah College of Art and Design, the city is emerging as a major cultural capital.  Major renovation and beautification projects have given the city an extra sparkle over the last ten years.  The Alumnae Association of Smith College is proud to join with Alumnae & Alumni of Vassar College in offering this specially designed autumn getaway to Savannah, Beaufort, and Jekyll Island.  A highly personalized itinerary will grant you special access to landmark historic homes in the Savannah area.   You’ll meet with their gregarious owners, and discuss local cuisine with chefs at storied city restaurants.
