If you’re new to the area and are hoping to get in touch with local alumnae, or if you’ve lived here for a while and would like to be more involved in Club activities, this is the place to start. Contact our Webmaster, Sarah Smalheer, and she will answer your question or forward your inquiry to the appropriate member of the Leadership Team.
For those active on Facebook, the Club has a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AnnArborSmithClub. That’s a good place to stay abreast of news and upcoming events.
Additionally, if you have a news item or upcoming event you would like to see included on the News or Events pages, please send the information to Sarah and she will post it on the appropriate page. Don’t forget to include the “WWWW”: Who (are you), What, Where and When of the event or news item!
Club Dues Information
We welcome your membership in the Smith Club of Ann Arbor, regardless of your ability to pay. Please feel free to tell us how we can accommodate you in this regard. We have a most energetic and interesting group here in Southeastern Michigan,and we value your participation. Thank you for joining us.
Annual club dues help support our mailings, directory, and events. Dues are voluntary and are not required for membership in the club, though they are certainly appreciated!
Dues are waived for current students.
Recent graduates from the classes of 2009-2013 have reduced dues of $15.
Regular annual dues for all classes of 2008 and earlier are $25.
A Smith College Book Award sponsorship is $30. (The Book Award is awarded by the Club to a deserving local high school student.)
All contributions should be made out to “Smith College Club of Ann Arbor” and should be mailed to our Treasurer:
