The North Shore Smith College Club is happy to announce that we are now accepting self-nominations for our open Board positions for 2024-2025. Serving on the Board is a fantastic way to deepen your connection to the Smith College alumnae community by meeting new alums, fostering connections within the alumnae community, and bringing word about Smith to prospective students. As a Board member, you would help grow Club membership; steer the Club into the future; and plan Club activities meant to engage the alumnae on the North Shore. Board members, in addition to their position specific responsibilities, are required to attend board meetings which are at a minimum quarterly, but more frequent as needed. Board meetings are currently held on Zoom, from 7:00 -8:30 pm, during a weeknight. Board members should be present at our Annual Meeting to meet our membership and share individual board position annual reports. Board members are encouraged to attend our two signature events annually plus any additional events as they are able.

From there, simply complete this self-nomination form to submit your nomination by April 26th. Then our Nominations Committee will review all submissions and assemble a draft slate to be voted on at our Annual Meeting in June.
