Garden in the Woods

Join John Berryhill, the new Director of the Botanic Garden of Smith College, to explore how Smith is responding to a pivotal moment in botanic garden history. Conservation, collaboration, and restorative justice are at the heart of new projects that invite today’s Smithies into the complex urgent problems that botanic gardens are uniquely situated to address. From Appalachian mountain tops, to coastal islands, to local bogs, botanical collection building at Smith is taking an exciting new turn!
