My name is Mariah (Prescott) Fancy, class of 2014, and I’m the North Shore Smith College Club Young Alum chair for the 2025-26 academic year.
Our years on campus at Smith were some of the best and I’m on a mission to create a “Smith away from Smith” community here just north of Boston.

About Me
I grew up on the North Shore and after 15 years of living all around the world (hello being married to a Smithie academic), we’re back here. At Smith I was on the crew team, majored in German (did JYA Hamburg), and lived in multiple houses but Gardiner has my heart. Hard to pick a favorite spot on campus but would either be the old school locker room in Ainsworth (RIP) or maybe Capen Gardens.
These days, I wear many hats professionally, but mainly am a dog trainer and marketer. In my free time I travel, explore with my wife Ashton (2014) and our dog Nel, and snuggle up to read with our fluffy cat Ammie. Looking forward to meeting up soon!
