Young Alums

Hi Young Alum (age 40 and under)!
My name is Sarah Luria and I’m the North Shore Smith College Club young alum chair for the ‘24-‘25 academic year. I’ve been thinking a lot about how we establish community and community care as a group here in the North Shore. Let’s revive the young alum network together! I would LOVE to hear from you about your interests, needs, and ideas. Email me anytime at shack2006@gmail.com.

Coffee and Coworking
We’ve all experienced the isolation that can come from working from home or the angst of afternoons in the office. Join me for a moment of shared space and community care. Each session, I’ll announce a North Shore coffee shop where I’ll work for the afternoon. Bring your laptop, paperwork, or a book to read for a no-stress, come-as-you-are moment to get some work done and feel the benefits of togetherness. No RSVP needed.

About Me
I’ve lived in the North Shore area for about seven years, currently in Lynnfield. My son is almost 7 years old and he’s the happiest dude on the block. I’m a researcher at the University of Connecticut where I consider classroom creativity and citizenship skills in public schools. I love coffee, reading, and fiber arts. Tell me about your favorite book! I’m always looking for new reads!
