Do you have a passion for presenting? Be a featured speaker at an AASC career event, club event or webinar. Typical topics include professional development, job search skills, networking, social media, entrepreneurship, returning to work, work-life balance and career advancement strategies.
Are you a writer with something interesting to say about careers? The AASC career blog features career and professional development advice ranging from tips on getting into graduate school to starting your own business. Guest bloggers share their expertise and offer advice to Smith alumnae and students.
Virtual Book Club Leader
Have you written a career-focused book you’d like to share? Our virtual book clubs offer authors a chance to reach out and connect with readers everywhere. Alumnae will read your book and then discuss it with you in a webinar format with questions and answers. Virtual book clubs may meet once or multiple times, depending on the topic and amount of time the author would like to give.
Are you a career counselor, career coach, human resources professional or professional resume writer? Resume reviewers commit to reviewing one resume per semester for an alumna in their area of expertise. This includes giving feedback to the alumna either via email or phone.

Do you have a professional demeanor, willingness to converse comfortably with alumnae and ability to give constructive feedback? Phone mock interviewers commit to conducting one practice phone interview per semester for an alumna. This includes giving feedback to the alumnae either via email or phone.
Are you an expert on a career topic such as networking, job search techniques, entrepreneurship or leadership? Career experts record brief videos on a specific job search or career development topic for our website.
