An engineering course project has resulted in a $100,000 Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation grant for three students, Darpan Bohara ’18, Yashna Sureka ’17 and Christine Yee ’17 (pictured above), who will use the award to develop a fingerprint authorization system for merchants in India.
