Cooking in the French Chef’s Kitchen Campaign Surpasses Goal: Share Your Story Reunion 2017 Registration is Now Open
Foreign Service Officer Shaila Manyam ’94 and her friends took the vacation of a lifetime at La Pitchoune, the Provence cottage where Julia McWilliams Child ’34 tested recipes for her classic cookbooks. Manyam writes, "Every meal we cooked ... was bursting with affection, conviviality and generosity." President Kathleen McCartney announced last week that Smith’s Women for the World campaign exceeded its $450 million goal, raising $486 million for key college priorities. Rachel Maddow, host of MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show, and Republican strategist Ana Navarro visited campus on separate occasions last month to reflect on the 2016 presidential election. Listen to their talks, which were part of Smith's Presidential Colloquium series.
