Smith Dining Staff Do Battle in Sandwich Wars What Sibyl Brown ’14 Wants You to Know About Hunger ‘Black Refractions’ at SCMA Engages Local Community
Smith Dining Services thought the sandwich offerings on campus needed a little makeover so they put a call out to dining staff to come up with some scrumptious ideas—and they delivered! Smith staff from various departments willingly volunteered to be judges. Find out what new culinary creations will be served on campus in the very near future. As a student, Sibyl Brown ’14 founded the Smith College chapter of the Food Recovery Network, where leftovers from Smith dining rooms are collected by students and donated to local organizations. Today, she is the community engagement coordinator for Feeding South Florida. A passionate advocate for food justice, she explains that the hungry are not who you think.
