August – Summer Sendoff
- August 15, 2025 | 5:30pm-7:30pm – An annual Smith tradition, the Summer Sendoff is designed to give new and current students an opportunity to meet each other and alumnae before heading off to college. All are welcome to mingle and wish our students well! This year’s event will be hosted by Anna Onishi at her home: 11 Abbey Woods, Pittsford, NY 14534. Please RSVP here!

April – Collaborative Event with Rochester Wellesley Club
- April 12, 2025 | 11:00am – Lecture with Professor Jennifer Rycenga entitled Herstory – History’s Overlooked Abolitionists, Prudence Crandall’s Academy for Black Women, and Lessons for Turbulent Times. Check out her new book, Schooling the Nation!
June – Annual Meeting
- June 12, 2025 | 5:30pm-8:00pm (business 6:10pm-7:30pm) – This year’s meeting was hosted by Kim Salisbury ’80 at Lanovara (208 Mushroom Blvd, Rochester, NY 14623), the commercial bakery she and her husband have owned and operated since 2007. In addition to “business,” we shared dinner, received a tour of the facility, filled our own cannoli, and enjoyed LOTS of dessert.

As Announced – Mountain Day Echo Celebration
- Whatever day the bells ring to announce Mountain Day on campus in Northampton, the Smith College Club of Rochester will try to observe Mountain Day locally with seasonal treats enjoyed in a social setting.
