A Special Event at New College, Florida’s Honor College
(Adjacent to the Ringling Museum, Sarasota)
Thursday, February 24th, 2022, 11:00 am
In view of Covid concerns, we will be meeting at New College’s outdoor Tiki Hut, overlooking Sarasota Bay. Our outing includes a presentation by Professor of Art History, Katherine Brion, on “Art in Public Spaces” in Sarasota. Our host, Declan Sheehy, Director of Philanthropy, will introduce us to the College and provide a short tour for those interested. A picnic lunch and refreshments will be served in the Tiki Hut following Professor Briton’s presentation.
- Please arrive at 10:45 am at the 351 College Drive parking lot at New College. Golf carts will transport us to the meeting site. Please dress in comfortable outdoor clothing and shoes.
- Price – $20.00/pp for boxed lunch. Please indicate if you prefer vegetarian. Cold drinks
