Established in 1947, the Smith College Club of Sarasota exists to develop, maintain and strengthen the connection among all Smith alumnae in our area. We strive to foster recognition of Smith College in the community, to recruit potential students and to liaise with students currently enrolled at the college.

Smith College Today: Audacity, Agency, Authenticity
Smithies are defined by their audacious actions and their uninhibited agency to enact change. Smith College is defined by how we encourage these individuals to live unrestricted lives, through academics, resources and unparalleled support. Smith is an environment that cultivates and encourages individuals to be who they are—and to become who they’re meant to be. At Smith, we earnestly embrace new voices.
At the heart of this learning experience is the innovative Neilson Library. For a virtual tour of the recently completed renovation of this world-class facility, visit https://www.smith.edu/about-smith/neilson
