guidelines

1. We welcome details of cultural or educational events of interest to Smith alumnae.
2. No promotion of religious or political events or fund-raising for such events.
3. Template for your promotion:  Name of event, Date, Time and Place, web address if relevant, brief description of 100 words or less.  You may include one image: this could be a poster or photograph relating to the event. Please send these details to Lynda Doery, Page Editor, lldoery@verizon.net AND Kat Whittaker, Website Manager, lkatwhittaker@gmail.com
4. Geographic area of event: Sarasota and surrounding area.
5. Please include a contact name, telephone number and email address for follow-up purposes.
6. We reserve the right to restrict use of our site, subject to these rules.
We will upload details of events once a week following receipt of your entry.

Starting Thursday, September 30th, Smith member, Art History Major and accomplished artist Jane Keller Herzig, presents an 11-series course entitled Art HERstory, featuring the  lives and work of 10 remarkable women artists.  This course is available FREE OF CHARGE to Smith College Club Members.  Each 1-1/2 hour lecture will take place on Zoom at 11 am, EST.Full details may be found here.
