Honor a Friend, Remember a Friend with a Gift to the Smith Fund

Reunion is a time to reflect on what Smith and Smith friends have meant to us.  You can honor a friend(s) or remember a classmate who has died by making a gift to THE SMITH FUND in their name.

Even if we can’t all be together in person, we can still remember, honor, or celebrate our friends and classmates. Give to Smith in memory of a Smith friend who has died, in honor of a lifelong Smith friend, or in celebration of one or more classmates who made Smith special for you. An acknowledgement will be sent to the classmates — or their families — you honor, sharing that you have honored or remembered them.  To do this, add “In honor of (or in memory of) [classmate name]” as an annotation to your online or mailed-in donation.  A complete Class necrology is included on the In Memoriam page of this web site.

We ask you to consider a gift — or an additional gift — to honor a Classmate or two.  For those who cannot come to campus this spring,  consider donating part or all of what you might have otherwise spent on travel to Northampton and registration fees.

You may contribute by visiting https://www.givecampus.com/campaigns/14740/donations/new  and use the dialogue box to name those who you wish to honor or remember. OR send a check (with a note indicating the 1977 classmate you wish to honor or remember) to Smith College Gift Accounting, 76 Elm Street, Northampton, MA  01063.

We encourage you to stretch in your support of Smith, if you are able. The College is seeing fewer donations during the pandemic and is relying on the generosity of those who are able to do a little bit more at this time.
