At the Annual Meeting SCCC traditionally collects donations of new socks to support On the Rise, a shelter providing day programs to women transition out of homelessness. Please, bring a pair.

Behind the Scenes in the Arts: Theater

A panel discussion on stage performances from various perspectives:
- Toby Bercovici – a freelance director and teaching artist. BA in Theatre from Smith College, MFA in Directing from UMASS Amherst.
- Maria Ciampa – a Smith alumnae, twice nominated best standup comedian by the Boston Phoenix and called a “refreshing voice” by Punchline Magazine.
- Jeannine Haas Ed. D. – a Smith Ada Comstock Scholar, has been teaching, acting, and directing theater professionally for 22 years.
- Ellen Kaplan – Professor of acting and directing at Smith College; teaches acting, directing, radio drama, and performance seminars.
Parking consideration will be available on Follen Street, Waterhouse Street, and Concord Street between Follen & Waterhouse.
On the Rise Organization
The Smith Club of Cambridge donates socks, toiletries, and cooked meals to the On the Rise Organization for women transitioning out of homelessness. Please contact Cathi Ward if you are interested in becoming involved in the next cooking event.
