Reunion Registration

Register Online Starting February 2025

The Smith Reunion website will open for online registration in early February, closing around May 1, 2025.  Watch for class and college emails with the exact dates.  Register early to ensure smooth processing.  Once registration opens, go to smith.edu/alums/reunion or call Alumnae Relations and Development at 800-526-2023 (option 9) or 413-585-2150.  To change your reservation in any way, use these numbers or email reunionregistration@smith.edu.

What You Need to Know About Payment

Payment must accompany your reservation.  College and class registration fees are non-refundable. Housing fees are refundable no matter when the cancellation.  Meal fees are refundable if requested before the registration deadline. Reunion stipends from the class treasury are available on a first come, first served basis.

 Reunion Stipends

Please don’t let an undue financial burden keep you from participating. Stipends are available so that all classmates, regardless of means, who wish to come to reunion will be able to do so. Before you register, simply email our class treasurer, Andy Nix at athnix@gmail.com to request financial assistance. Your inquiry will be treated confidentially, known to only Andy and a single person on the Smith Reunion staff.  Reunion stipends are of two types, covering either “Free Meals” or “100% of Costs” (excluding travel costs which remain the responsibility of each registrant).  You will receive a prompt response.  If your request is approved, you will be able to proceed to register for a discounted registration fee, paying only the balance due, if any.

 On-Campus Housing & Meals

Sign up for on-campus housing and meals when you register.  The housing fee is a package rate per person per bed for three nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) including a hot breakfast (Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings).  The housing fee cannot be pro-rated on a per-night basis.  Meals are priced a la carte. Dietary needs and preferences can be accommodated.

Alums and guests will stay in multiple houses assigned to our class.  Some but not all houses have elevators.  If you need special accommodations for accessibility, you can request this when you register for Reunion. Most rooms are singles.  Some double rooms with two single beds are available for couples.  Room assignments are issued only when you check-in on campus and assigned based on your senior house. Smith is unable to accept housing requests.

 Lodging Options

If on-campus housing is not for you, you may prefer to stay in a hotel, motel, or AirBNB in the Northampton area.  Given Commencement weekend, local options are likely to be scarce, but you may be able to find accommodations such as in Springfield, 19 miles away, a 28-minute drive. Smith has a list of local accommodations: smith.edu/discover-smith/visit-campus#accommodations.  Check with these establishments for details and reservations.  IMPORTANT NOTE: Registration for reunion is necessary whether you stay on- or off-campus.
