Those are the numbers to remember: Before our 55th reunion, our goal is to raise at least $500,000 for the Smith Fund from 250 classmates (that would be 55% participation).
Can we do it? Yes! By January 2024 we were more than halfway there, with 30% participation.
Over the past four years our annual giving has averaged about $370,000, with 46% of you making a gift each year. (Thank you!) We are confident that we can do better and hit – or exceed – the year’s goals of $500,000 and 55% participation.
Our class is both supporting Smith’s future and honoring our past. Sadly, 72 of our classmates have died. Please review the list of deceased classmates and decide who you want to honor with a contribution. By reunion we hope all our deceased classmates will have been remembered in this way.
We are grateful for the dedication and persistence of our Fund Team, some of whom have served in this role for several five-year cycles. If you’d like to join us, even if just to write thank-you notes, we would be happy to have you! Email any of us if you are interested!
