CONNEC71NG ’21 – Your response needed by April 20! – this is our new effort to develop connections between our class and the Class of ’21 which will graduate when we celebrate our 50th reunion in May 2021. The ’21ers have responded with great enthusiasm and, to get things started, have launched a ’71 – ’21 mentoring program. Over 110 ‘21ers have already signed up online! Now it’s our turn to respond – Please read more here and, if you are interested, sign up here by April 20. (If you have a gmail account you may be prompted to sign in). Over the next 3 years, we hope to see many different kinds of connections. If we succeed, it may be the start of a great new Smith tradition. So please take a look; we hope you’ll sign up! For background, photos and more information click CONNEC71NG 21 or contact Tara Harvey or Carol Pinki Fontein
Now is the time for a few good women to help us build a system of House Reps. We need just one (or a few) volunteers in each house to encourage housemates to come to our 50th – those who have never been back or come only rarely. It’s a great way to re-connect with housemates, find lost classmates and there’s no direct fundraising piece to it. Think how much more fun it would be if you had your own gang of friends there to celebrate our 50th! Click here for more info and to sign up or contact Annie Nickel Curtin or Donna Smerlas
Sandy Cate and Sarah Peskin are working on our 50th reunion class book. There are many options for such a publication, and if you have ideas to share or would like to help with the project as it evolves, please let us know. Classmates with editorial or publishing skills would be much appreciated! Meanwhile, Sarah Koffman Mantica and others are brainstorming a class video. Click here for more info. To help with the class book, contact Sandy Cate. To help with a class video contact Sarah Koffman Mantica .
